President-elect Donald Trump has pledged to shed light on the mysterious drones spotted in New Jersey and other locations after he assumes office on January 20.
During a meeting with Republican governors at Mar-A-Lago on Thursday, Trump addressed questions from the press, criticizing the Biden administration’s lack of transparency on the matter.
“I’ll provide a full report on these drones within the first day or so of my administration,” Trump said. “It’s ridiculous that no one is talking about what’s going on with them.” He noted that the drones are frequently seen over Bedminster, New Jersey, and expressed frustration over the silence surrounding the issue.
Lack of Answers
Trump pointed out the Biden administration’s failure to release information or provide explanations. “They don’t want to talk about it, and nobody knows why,” he stated. “I hope it’s not an enemy, but we’ll find out on January 21.” He assured the public that his administration would disclose exactly what is known about the drones soon after the inauguration.
Official Responses and Recent Sightings
The Pentagon has denied foreign involvement in the drone activity, while the FBI admitted in December that it has no concrete answers regarding their origins.
The phenomenon isn’t limited to New Jersey. Similar sightings have been reported in states like Minnesota and Virginia. Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin expressed concern over the situation. “We’ve had drones breach secure airspace,” he said. “And we still don’t know why. That’s absolutely unacceptable.”
Trump’s commitment to addressing the mystery has raised hopes for greater transparency and answers about these unexplained drone incursions.
